ITEMS YOU WILL NEED:

There are only a couple of items that you will need to create these tissue paper spring balls. First you will need medium sized styrofoam balls. You will need however many balls that you want to create for your table or reception tables.

Next, you will need tissue paper. You may want to get different colors to use for different balls as well, especially if you are making these balls for a wedding reception, make the tissue paper match the colors of the wedding. If you are displaying these balls with flowers, then make sure that the tissue paper will match the colors of the flowers and not clash with them.

CREATE YOUR TISSUE PAPER BALLS:

To create your tissue paper balls first you will need to cut the tissue paper into pieces. You will need to cut 3 inch by 3 inch square of the tissue paper to be attached to your styrofoam balls. Next, you will need to poke your finger into the center of a piece of the tissue paper, then push the side up around your finger, this will give the piece of tissue paper pointy edges.

Once you have done that, dab a little craft glue onto the piece of tissue paper that is on the tip of your finger, then simply press the piece of paper with glue onto the styrofoam ball. Hold the tissue paper onto the balls for a few seconds so that it will stick before removing your finger. Repeat this step over and over until the entire styrofoam ball is covered. Be sure to keep the pieces of tissue paper close enough so that none of the styrofoam ball shows through.
