This easy centerpiece idea is guest friendly and very easy on the budget. It's very simple to put together as well. If you're stumped for wedding table centerpiece ideas that will be easy on your pockets, definitely take this simple idea into consideration. Here is how you can create your own wine glass centerpiece.

START COLLECTING WINE GLASSES:

You may want to get started on this project a few months before your reception. Go to as many thrift stores and yard sales as you can to find and start buying up wine glasses. Old or new, it doesn't matter. They will wash up and look great for your centerpiece. The best part is that they do not have to match at all. You can have a huge variety of wine glasses, you'll find some very pretty one's too.

CANDIES:

Everyone loves candy. Consider what types of candy you want to serve in your wine glasses. You could use pastel jelly beans, personalized M&M's, wedding mints, conversation hearts, and so much more. The options are endless for the candy ideas.

CREATE YOUR WINE GLASS CENTERPIECES:

Now simply fill the wine glasses with all of the different types of candy. Do be dull or boring; give a lot of variety for people to choose from at each table. You could even fill some of the wine glasses with different kinds of nuts or orange slices, think outside the box. Maybe you want to include you and your future husband's favorite candy in the glasses. Great! It doesn't all have to be totally wedding themed, right, because people love all kinds of candy. You could even do chocolate candies, especially if you are having a Valentine's Day wedding.

Then cluster a few of the glasses in the center of your reception tables, so that everyone can share them and the candy. Your guests can toast one another and enjoy indulging in the candy. If you have long tables, you may want to consider 3 or 4 clusters of wine glasses up and down the table, so that everyone can reach the candy! You can place as many glasses or as few glasses in each cluster as you like, about 5 to 8 glasses should do each cluster good enough.

You could also place a little vine or other greenery around the glasses on the table, to make them look more like a centerpiece. You could even add some flower just laying around the glasses for a simple look as well.
