Creating and Building a World of Warcraft Guild

Jerry
For years, World of Warcraft has been the most popular online role playing game. This is because people stay interested in game play through leveling, creating new characters, increasing their gold and equipment, as well as meeting some awesome friends along the way. This specific article focuses primarily on the friends that you make along the way while playing World of Warcraft.

The guild system is a great way to make friends and discover your own online community of active, friendly players. Many people decide to simply join a guild. Others go above and beyond, and create a guild which is started with a few of their personal friends who are interested in the guild as well, and agree to sign the guild charter. A guild charter is needed to create a guild, and you will need a set number of members to "sign" this guild charter before starting the guild. These players agree to help form the guild, as well as are interested in joining the guild once it has started. They will be the founding members of the guild, but can be removed if you feel it so.

If you've ever been in a guild while playing World of Warcraft, you know that there are many different types of guilds available for many different types of players.

Some guilds are for the level cap only, which is currently level 70. These guilds focus primarily on a few different things, but are always considered to be "end-game" guilds, since these players are at the "end" of the game and are playing the game to its fullest extent. These guilds are normally directed either towards "raiding" or "pvp". PVP guilds are strictly for player versus player. These guilds are more into playing arena and battle grounds, earning honor, and getting their special end-game epic mounts, training, and equipment. These guilds typically work together to achieve all of these things. Raiding guilds work in the same concept, except for the majority of this time, the players of the guild have already done all of their player versus player content to get their best gear possible and are ready for raiding. Raiding guilds work together and attack enemy bases for honor and enjoyment. This is definitely a fun activity, however you best be ready for some serious raiding before you join a raiding guild.

There are still many other different types of guilds for players below 70, and even for players who have just started playing. There are guilds which are strictly for leveling, and in these guilds, the levels of players will vary immensely. These guilds are meant to provide players with easier leveling through grouping and funding, and are awesome for new players because they will get the chance to learn a few new things, as well as learn how the guilds work. I would recommend a guild like this to anyone interested in doing some quesitng, instance running, or any other type of leveling while having the support of a guild behind you; you're not ever alone while playing WoW if you're in a guild!

Twink guilds are becoming much more popular. The art of twinking is growing. Twinking is where players make characters and then get them the best enchants, equipments, and levels possible for a given bracket of a battleground. For instance, many people like to make level 19 twink characters, and then do warsong gulch repeatedly for farming honor and fun. This definitely is an extremely fun activity, but extremely expensive to keep up with the competition. Some of these players do nothing but play battlegrounds, and have spent thousands of gold on enchants and equipment at such a low level. This makes it nearly impossible for non-twinks to accomplish anything in these brackets. However, if you're interested in joining a guild which is specific to twinking, this will become much easier. These guilds usually help run you through instances for your equipment, give you gold for your enchants or have someone enchant your items for a much cheaper price, and all around get you ready for twinking the battle grounds as well as give you partners to play with while in battlegrounds!

Overall, if you want to be ultimately successful and have the most fun while playing World of Warcraft, a guild truly is necessary. They're the way to have more fun while playing World of Warcraft, and often will benefit you in ways which you never really even expected. I would recommend joining a guild at any level, and for any reason. Just become a part of the WoW community and you won't be dissapointed!
