Creating a Care Bear Nursery

Many parents want to create an appealing nursery room for their baby when he or she comes home from the hospital. There are many products and toys out there to make your nursery a cute one for your newborn baby, but many moms and dads decide to go with a themed nursery. One toy product that debuted in the 1980s by the American Greeting Company that is still popular today is the Care Bears! Having a Care Bear mobile is perfect for a newborn's crib or bassinet. These are not that expensive and can be purchased from Wal-Mart or another retailer for only about $20. The Care Bear mobile rotates four of the Care Bears and plays the song "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" for the newborn boy or girl listening to it. This would also be a great baby shower gift for anyone that's looking for Care Bear decorations for their baby.

Care Bear Crib Sets

Bedding for the newborn crib is just as essential as buying the crib itself. Care Bear crib bedding can be purchased from any store that sells Care Bear products and usually includes a Care Bears sheet, comforter, and bumper. There is also a Care Bear crib organizer that will hang on the side of the newborn's crib so that you can have all of the baby's toys and essential things organized.

Other Care Bear Stuffed Friends

There are plenty of other Care Bear stuffed friends that you can buy for your newborn baby. Some can be purchased that are as small as 2 or 3 inches in height. The average size for a Care Bear friend, however, is 13 inches tall and would fit perfectly inside the crib for your newborn to surround him or herself with. You can buy these small Care Bear versions in just about any of the Care Bears that are available, including the original ten Care Bear friends themselves.

Making a Care Bear nursery for your newborn baby is a cute way to make your infant happy and have something for him or her to play with and cuddle with in their crib and to sleep with when they get a little older. Care Bears probably will always be popular and they certainly have not gone out of style yet!
