No matter what your skin type is, you can also achieve a flawless summer makeup look. Here are some tips that will help you create your flawless summer makeup routine. The summer heat requires special techniques and products.
Prepare your skin. Your first step in creating a flawless summer makeup look is to first prepare your skin. Choose products that are great for your skin type. You'll need a cleanser, toner, and a moisturizer with an SPF of at least fifteen. Wash, tone, and moisturize your skin twice a day- once in the morning and once in the evening. If your skin has excess oil in the summer, you may want to find an oil controlling makeup base product. This will provide a smooth, oil free coating and will help you create a flawless summer makeup base.
Create a base. In winter, it may be okay to use a heavy makeup base. In the summer, however, if you use heavy products it can make your skin break out and clog your pores. Instead, mix a small amount of your winter foundation with your morning sun protecting moisturizer. This will even out your skin and take you one step closer to achieving flawless summer makeup and great skin.
Your tan. The secret to glowing summer makeup lies in your tan. We all know that a real tan is bad for your skin. It causes it to age and makes it look dried out. Instead, protect your skin with an SPF and create color using either a sunless tanning lotion or bronzer. You can also use a combination of both products to create a natural glow. Experiment with different products and bronzers until you find the combination that helps you achieve your ideal summer makeup look.
Flawless color. You have many choices when it comes to adding color. There is color for your lips, cheeks, and eyes. Generally, summer make up is lighter and more natural than winter color. But, it is all a matter of personal preference. If you prefer a sheer look, find a lip gloss that matches your complexion, a sheer eyeshadow, and some mascara.
If you prefer a more dramatic look for your flawless summer makeup look, choose the colors that best compliment your skin. If you don't want to add color, don't worry. In the summer you may not need it. Just finish your look with some sunglasses and a little lip color. It's all a matter of personal preference. Remember that the best colors are ones that play up your best features.
