Creating a Program for Losing Weight

The whole idea of a program is to you create an approach to losing weight as well as creating a healthy endurance when your exercising. This program's goal is to help you rid your body of any excess fat. You do not want to lose your healthy muscle tissue and bodily fluids, and this program will help you achieve just that.

First of all, you need to focus and have a lot of dedication, thus you have to be prepared both in your mind and of course your body. You should see a doctor for a physical before going on any weight loss program.

It's very important that you start a weight loss program, you have to be optimistic enough so that you end up with some results. Most people get intolerant very easily, but as long as you keep up with the program, long term effects are assured.

Before you start, you should stretch out your body as much as possible, before doing any exercises and/or working out your muscles. You need to stretch so that you avoid injuring yourself or developing soreness in your body.

It's not advised that you try very hard; everything you do should be done in moderation, and exercise is no exception. You must find the level of exercise and training that suits your body, otherwise it won't do you any good.

The first week of the program:

The very first day of the program has you going for a nice, pleasurable, long walk for at least 20 minutes. Once you finish your walk, do a nice stretch for 5 minutes. Take only a small amount of time on your first day. Believe it or not, but in less than half an hour, you have taken the first small steps to losing yopur excess body weight.

On your second day, get a good upper body workout. You have to keep up your strength, so that you can endure for the entire week of the program.

On your third day, take a nice walk and/or jog for ten minutes. You should follow it up by getting a nice lower body workout in the evening.

On your fourth day, take a good rest, try not to do anything too physical, though get a good stretch that day.

The fifth day starts off with you getting a nice ten minute walk. Exercise your lower body, then take another ten minute walk, followed by another session of a lower body workout.

Your sixth day on the program should be spent doing a gentle exercise such as going for a nice swim.

Your seventh day of the program should involve you getting a nice gentle walk for 20 minutes. Spend some time with people who will support you while you go through the program, such as your family. This should keep you motivated for the long run.

This is really the beginning of the program. If you can stick to the program by the end of the week, you stand a good chance of continuing the program and continuing your journey to weight loss. Always realize that patience is a virtue, it took time to gain all that extra weight, and it will take time to take it off. Stick to the program!
