Treat yourself and your home to a welcoming and inviting makeover. Create a room in your home that is entirely yours, a room for those long afternoons spent enjoying the fragrant outdoors, a room where you can relax and read or create and nurture a dormant interest. A beautiful view is essential in a room that's totally relaxing for you. Adding lattice to walls in your room that have window like cutouts, can add privacy without totally cutting those outside views. A big hydrangea bush and several other plantings, can provide seclusion and bring nature to the forefront of any room. Lots of fragrant, colorful, blooming flowers are right at home in an outdoor space. Keep any bouquets loose, simple and colorful for that "fresh from the garden" look, try using interesting containers for vases to add an interesting focal point.

Cane and wooden furniture are perfect for that outside room, providing warmth and personality, cold metal furniture just cant muster. For those extra little touches that make a room uniquely yours, try adding area rugs, potted plants, throw pillows and knick knacks, to create a space that is yours. A breath of fresh air is really good for the soul, and an inviting outdoor space is a perfect place to rejuvenate the spirit. A covered porch has all the comforts of home and provides the fundamental elements of the outdoors. When choosing the theme and colors for decorating your room, you want to make sure that every aspect of the room has a little bit of your personality attached to it. Colors and accents are very important but you want to avoid clutter, a cluttered room can make you feel frantic and rushed. So when choosing pieces for your room look at each one of your choices carefully, if something speaks to you then you know that is the piece for your one of a kind room. Personally, I love old black and white movie star photos, so when choosing the decorating scheme for my personal room I wanted lots of flowers and vivid colors, so I choose black as my accent color and a deep, shade of pink as the focal color. These two colors looked wonderful together and the pink tones of the walls really made my pictures stand out. The black leather furniture I chose looks marvelous against the light pink walls with vivid pink trimming. of course I also added tons of flowers and plants in bright colors of pinks and greens, to add a touch of the outside to my personal room. Decorating doesn't have to be difficult, if you just combine your personal style with a touch of attitude. Bright shades of pinks, greens and blues are the best colors of choice when choosing an outdoor decorating scheme. Remember to incorporate touches of the outdoors into your decorating and you're sure to get a room thats all your own. A great idea for bringing the outdoors into your kitchen and dining room is by having a window sill container garden. Not only does this bring the outdoors into your living space, it will also supply you with a year round source for fresh hearbs and flowers.
