1 Solid colored Bodysuit that doesn't have a detachable opening in the crotch if you prefer this type of bodysuit be sure to ware a pair of shorts to match or a skirt over it so the snaps can not be seen. (A long or short sleeve bodysuit is optional, depending on your preference.
1 -Pair of flesh tone tights to match your natural skin tone.
1 -Pair of fishnet stockings to match the bodysuit.
1 -Oversized Powder Puff for a tail or wadded cotton/pillow stuffing can be coated with aerosol hair spray to maintain shape and a safety pin is used to fasten tail to the back of body suit.
1 -Pair of high healed shoes (remember, new shoes that aren't properly broken in can pinch and rub against feet causing discomfort so try to use a pair of shoes you know will be comfortable).
1-Pair of ears / The most important accessory for your Sexy Bunny Rabbit suit is the ears; they define the entire costume and tie everything together. Splurge on this item at party store or you can try any discount dollar store; most closeout stores carry this type of item.
? - Multiple face paint colors if you have a set of face paint be sure the set includes the following colors: Pink and Black, and any color you prefer to use as an eye shadow. I prefer green but use what you like. If you don't want to buy face paint, you can use regular makeup. Though I don't recommend borrowing someone else's makeup in fact you should never share any intimate products with anyone including loved ones, it's not sanitary.
Now that you have everything you need to begin to create you Sexy Bunny Rabbit Halloween Costume you're ready to put it all together.
I suggest that you try on your costume a few days before you plan to ware it, so adjustments can be made to perfect your look and promote comfort.
Begin with the flesh tone tights, these will cover your legs well enough to keep you warm, mask you pantie line and smooth out further imperfections.
The fishnet stockings are worn over the tights for the sexy look you require to become a Sexy Bunny Rabbit. If there is a seam where the stockings are pieced together, be sure to put it in the back of your leg, the line always runs up the back of a stocking.
The body suit goes over the tights and the stockings. A skirt or pair of shorts over the entire costume is still very sexy if you prefer to be covered more. Leaving more to the imagination is sexier than letting it all hang out.
The tail can be made from an oversized powder puff or from a roll of wadded up cotton/pillow stuffing. If you are using cotton or stuffing from a pillow, pull it and shape it with your fingers, when you get it molded into the shape you like, spray it lightly with an aerosol hair spray to maintain the shape. (Don't overspray tail) you don't need to use a lot of hair spray a little goes a long way. Over spraying will cause the cotton to change color and become too wet to pin to the back of your costume. Let sprayed cotton tail set for a few minutes before pinning to the back of your costume. Another thing to consider before you pin the tail on the back of your Sexy Bunny Rabbit Costume is being able to sit down while you are wearing it. Be sure to pin the tail high enough on your backside to be able to sit. I'm sure you don't want to end up standing the entire time you are wearing your Sexy Bunny Rabbit Costume.
You can put on your shoes now if you like, but it would probably be more comfortable to wear a pair of slippers until you are ready complete your look.
Now it is time to do your makeup. If you have chosen to use face paint there are many on the market but the most important key to quality makeup application is preparation. You're bare skin is delicate, be sure to clean face thoroughly, moisturize lightly and set with a light powder base.
If you don't normally use face powder be sure to splurge on this one item. It is important to use a powder base before applying any face makeup or paint; it sets the painted areas of the skin smoothly preventing your makeup or paint from bleeding or running. It also occupies your pours which helps to prevent makeup from staining your skin.
Whether you use theatrical or everyday makeup the key is to begin in the center of the area you wish to fill in. It is easier to enlarge the area as you go along and you won't waste any time trying to remove makeup. The key is planning your pattern before you put it on your skin.
A Sexy Bunny Rabbit Halloween Costume isn't complete without a traditional pink nose. All bunny rabbits have pink noses and a Sexy Bunny Rabbit is no exception. Here are some tips to remember when you are applying makeup to the nose. A Bunnies nose is very small so you need only to make a small triangle on the very top of the tip of your nose. If you pass the nostril you went too far. Try to remember, we all touch our faces when we use a napkin or take a drink so keep your Sexy Bunny Rabbit nose small and sexy.
Lipstick is a must you can't be a Sexy Bunny Rabbit for Halloween and not have bright red lipstick, if you prefer to tone down the red sexy lipstick, any color down to lip balm will do.
Eye makeup, theatrical or everyday makeup, there are some things you should know about both. Be sure to follow the same rule of thumb with the face powder, I can't stress this enough. Don't put mascara on your lashes until the very end of your makeup application. I'll let you know when.
Eye shadow is fun to play with I like to use three different colors on my lids and here is how I do it.
After I apply a thin coat of face powder I choose a primary color, one I want to accentuate with, all over my entire eyelid. Then I take a much darker and comparable color and apply it to the crease of my eyelid but I don't go from corner to corner with it, I start in the middle of my eyelid and work my way out to the end of my eyebrow. I'm ready for the third and final color this is a very light color lighter than any so far. I run the applicator along the bottom of my eyebrow from end to end
And no Sexy Bunny Rabbit Costume would be complete without whiskers. I apply whiskers with very fine black eyeliner, if you are using face paint be sure the paint brush is thin. To create the whiskers I always put three on each side of my nose beginning in the center of my face on the outer edge of the nose create the center whisker. Then on a slight angle upward create the second whisker and then on a downward angle I create the third it will sort of look like your fingers do when you show the number three and spread your fingers very wide. Follow the same directions for whiskers for the opposite side of the face.
When it comes to hair, it's very difficult to tell someone else how to fix it. Everyone hair is different I have a few suggestions for styles.
If your hair is long clip it up in a few places to give it some height, you can even tease it for a fuller effect. Pony tails can be sexy too so don't be afraid to try new things. Remember, ears are going to share the space on your head with your hair so a style that can accommodate the Bunny Rabbit ears is best.
If you hair is short, put some gel or mouse in it and twist it with your fingers making it stick up and look sexy.
Now you can put on your mascara. Your look is complete and just as soon as you put your shoes on you will become a very Sexy Bunny Rabbit.
I hope this information on how to create a Sexy Bunny Rabbit Halloween Costume has assisted you in creating the look you desired.
Have a Safe and Happy Halloween.
