Creating a Website with Web.com

The Best Website to Go with to Host Your Site

Shannon Frye
Since I am in the process of creating a professional website I decided to go with Web.com. This is because I know that they have a shopping cart feature as well as Paypal buy it now buttons. Can you imagine creating an entire website only to find out that there's no way for the customers to pay for any items? If you are thinking about using a shopping cart you will need to purchase the upgraded plan which will cost you $19.99 per month. I also chose to protect my identity which costed me an extra $16.00.

The first thing that you have to do is create a domain name. You can search as many times as you want to find the perfect domain name. Once you have the domain name you will need to select a package and set up monthly fees. You can then sign back in and go to the website builder. This will walk you through how you can set up your website. You will first want to select the background. You can choose from many different backgrounds and you will want to make sure that the navigation buttons are where you want them. The navigation buttons can be located on the left hand side or on the top of the webpage.

There will be text and pictures on the website to start you off. You will want to some of the text to fit your website and then upload the pictures that you want to use. You can create numerous pages and pages with a catalog as well. You can then click on add on features and you can add on different items such as a counter and a time and date stamp. You can also create an account with Weather.com and let people see what the weather is like in their area.

Web.com is very easy to use. I have managed to create most of my website within the past few days. I spend a lot of time on the computer but I would assume that this would be easy for anybody to use once you get the hang of it. They have a lot of different templates to choose from and a lot of different options that you can add to your site. You can create an email address that connects with your website. You will need to link your email from your website to your paypal account.

I would highly recommend that everybody use Web.com. This site is truely amazing and they have wonderful customer support as well. If you need to create a professional looking website with essential items such as Paypal payment buttons, this website will help you all the way. Plus, it will only cost you $19.99 a month to keep your website running and you get a domain name included in that price.
