Creative Calorie Burners for Women Intermediate Under Age 50

So you have made your way to the intermediate level of fitness. At this point you are probably feeling a lot better and seeing a new you when you look in the mirror. Things are a little different now though then when you first started trying to become physically fit. Probably still not where you want to be at , but that is alright. Much of the creative calorie burners I will be talking about are the same things that you did during the beginning level of your fitness only with a little more punch added to them. Welcome to the next level of fitness. Creative calorie burners for women, who are under 50 and at an intermediate level.

House Cleaning:

House cleaning is still a great way to burn those calories. Now that you are at an intermediate level though , we need to take house cleaning up a notch. You will still need to clean house for 30 minutes straight but this time clean to music that has a fast pace tempo. By moving to the fast tempo of the music, you will be burning more calories. Another great way to burn calories while cleaning is to take a towel and on your hands and knees dry your floors after mopping them. This will help your floors to shine and help you to burn calories.

Shopping:

Once again a woman's favorite past times turned into your weight loss allies. To take shopping up a notch to fit your new fitness level, you need to walk around the store or mall a couple of times before shopping. Remember that when walking around before shopping you need to power walk. Keep your pace quick. At a mall you can also take things up a notch after you are done shopping, by walking around the mall a couple of times carrying your bags before heading for your car.

Outdoor Chores:

When it is time to mow the lawn do so with a push mower. Now if you have a bag attached to your push mower you will need to take it off. After you are done mowing your lawn rake up all the grass clippings with a rake and bag them up.

In the winter time you can be a great neighbor and shovel your neighbors driveway along with your own. Just remember to take winter precautions and protect yourself from the cold. Also while outdoors during the winter time take time to build a snowman. Yep that is right building a snowman will actually burn up those calories.

Charity:

Take part in a charity event. Find an event that is working to raise money for a cause you believe in and sign up. A lot of different charities hold walk-a-thons and bike rides and such. Find one that you can physically do at an intermediate level and sign up to take part in it. This is a great way to get and stay fit and also be a part of something worthwhile.
