Creative Cocktails for New Year's Eve

Kelly Allan
New Year's Eve isn't complete without drinks. Beer, wine and champagne are all staples of a good New Year's Eve party. But if you really want to set the bar for a great throw down, make some creative drinks that your guests will never forget. Here are eight top picks:

Teddy Bear
1oz Dekuyper Sour Apple Pucker
1 oz Triple Sec
2 oz Cranberry - Raspberry Juice
Mix all ingredients together and serve in a highball glass.

Peanut Butter Cup
1 oz Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur
1oz coffee liqueur
1oz Irish cream
5oz milk
Mix all ingredients together and then add ice. Serve in a hurricane glass.

X-Ray
1 oz Kahlua
1oz Frangelico
1 oz Baileys
1 oz milk
Shake all ingredients together, preferably with a bartender shaker and serve in a shot glass.

Crack Pipe
1 oz Vodka
1 oz Bourbon
1 oz Rumple Minze
Shake all ingredients together with a bartender shaker and serve in a highball glass.

Mint Chocolate
1/4 oz coffee liqueur
1/2 creme de menthe
1/4 Irish cream
Mix all ingredients together in a shot glass.

Nectarine Hurricane
1 oz rum
1 oz nectarine schnapps
2/3 oz orange juice
1/3 oz pineapple juice
Blend all ingredients with ice to make as a frozen drink or serve with ice on the rocks in a hurricane glass.

Tootsie Roll
1oz Kahlua
1oz orange juice
Shake together in a shaker and serve in a shot glass.

Cement Mixer
1 oz Irish cream
1 oz lime cordial
Pour a separate shot of each in two different shot glasses. Put the Irish cream in your mouth, hold it and then put the lime in your mouth. DO NOT SWALLOW. Then, swish around in your mouth as you would do with mouthwash. Feel it solidify. This is a good one to do as a trick on one of your friends.

All these drinks are super easy to do and don't have many ingredients. So...enjoy!
