Creative Gifts for Your Groomsmen

Ben M
When I was a soon to be groom, there was so much on my mind just weeks prior to the wedding the last thing I wanted to think about was how to be creative with wedding gifts to my best man and groomsman. My wife had me picking out invitations, registering for gifts, and selecting a song playlist for the reception so trying to figure out a unique gift that would always be remembered was a challenge. Therefore, I did what most people do. I went the easy route and ordered engraved bottle openers from the Internet. It took me twenty minutes to find, I entered the information into the website and clicked "Buy" and I was done. At the time it was a quick and easy fix, but now I think to myself, My brothers and friends mean more to me than bottle openers.

There are so little ideas for gifts online that it's hard to spend a tremendous amount of time online trying to search for the perfect, unique gift. Here's a list of gifts that I compiled that are sure to be unique and certainly great conversation ideas.

The first gift I want to mention here is something my brother gave to me for being in his wedding earlier this summer. It is a one acre parcel of land on the moon. Yes, I said that correctly! It's the most creative gift I've ever seen, and not to mention it could be a wise investment. For $30.00, you can buy your groomsmen a one of a kind gift. It is 100% real. The Lunar Embassy has been selling land on the moon for the past 22 years, and many celebrities and two former presidents have invested in this. Gift comes with an actual legal Lunar Deed and a map that plots where your one acre parcel is located. Gift can be found at: Lunarregistry.com

Another idea I found for groomsmen gifts are shares of stock in companies like Playboy. Again, this gift is 100% real, and this plaque even comes with Hef's own signature personally engraved! This single share entitles owner to declared dividends, annual reports, and other stock related items. It's sure to be a hit with your single friends! Gift can be found at: Giveashare.com

For the beer drinkers in your wedding party, you can provide them with a subscription to the Micro-Brew of the Month club. I know, my mouth is watering just thinking about this gift. For $27.95, your groomsmen will receive 12 bottles of premium brewed beers, delivered every month from award winning brewing companies. Shipping is free every month, and a beer lover's newsletter is provided with every shipment. Gift can be found at: Findgift.com

All men enjoy a nice steak. And we all brag about how better are steak is from the next. Take the competition to the next level with a personalized steak brander. With your name shaped on the branding iron, it's a perfect way to personalize your steak, tortillas, or even chicken. The iron is placed on a 10 inch handle. Your friends can no longer take credit for the steaks you make with this item! The present is approximately $26.00. Gift can be found at: Fromthegroom.com

There are many different presents out there you can get for your groomsmen, but these are just a few that I ran across. I hope, if anything, this can teach you to think outside of the box and provide a memorable gift.
