You're pregnant and your belly is huge. It is Halloween and you have parties to attend or trick or treating to do with the kids. Do you just go as your self, the pregnant lady or do you dress up. I have some suggestions for creative Halloween costumes for pregnant women. Make your baby's first Halloween start this year.

Hula girl

Items Needed

A bikini top

grass skirt

lei

If you can't find a grass skirt you can make one buy taking a sheet painting it green and cutting strips up it all around but leaving the top to tie around your waist. You can also use a large garbage bag to do this if you do not want to cut up a sheet. You can make a lei by getting different colors of tissue paper. Scrunch it up then take a needle and string and run the string through the wads of tissue paper to make the lei.

Basketball

Items Needed

Your belly

Non-toxic paint

Decorate your belly the baby belly can be a basketball. Have your mate go with you as a basketball player and tell everyone the baby is dressed up for Halloween. To decorate your belly simply buy some non-toxic paint and decorate your expectant baby for Halloween.

Bun in the Oven

This one is sure to be a hit wherever you go. You have a bun in the oven so why not emphasize that. To create the costume all you need is

1 large box

Silver paint

Tin foil

Knobs and buttons

Colored non-toxic paint

Use the large box to create your oven. Paint the box with the silver paint. Add some knobs and buttons as a traditional stove has. Cut an opening into the box where your belly is so you can open and close the oven door. Use the tin foil to make a tea pot to put on your head, that way when you sit down the tea pot will rest on top the stove. Use the non-toxic paint to create a cake on your belly. Your husband could go with you as a chef.

Hopefully these ideas will spark your enthusiasm for dressing up for Halloween. The Bun in the oven costume is my favorite but they all make great costumes for the Mama-to-be. What ever you decide to dress up as, make sure to take pictures, so in the future the baby can see his/her first Halloween. Above all us go out and have fun. You deserve it.
