Are you looking for a last-minute Halloween costume that can be made out of supplies on hand? Nevermind that you can buy actual Halloween costumes at the grocery store these days. Here are ten quick, easy, and creative costumes you can make using everyday things that can be bought at the grocery store. These Halloween costumes can easily be adapted to fit people of every age and size. **Be careful using costumes consisting of plastic bags and/or balloons around children who can suffocate or choke on these items.

Raisin. This is an easy costume to make consisting of a black garbage bag and crumpled newspaper. Cut a small slit in the bottom of the bag to stretch over the person's head. Crinkly the bag well and stuff the bag with newspaper. Tie to tape the bag closed around the persons legs. You could also tape a SunMaid box to the front of the bag.

Bag of Trash. This Halloween costume uses a black garbage bag and crumpled paper, newspaper, and empty plastic or cardboard food containers such as yogurt cups, milk containers, snack food and cereal boxes. Attach the "trash" randomly to the garbage bag on all sides. Cut a small slit at the bottom of the garbage bag, and pull it over the person's head so the bag is being worn around the neck.

Snack Table. To make a simple snack table Halloween costume, staple open bags of chips to a sweatshirt. Let people help themselves.

Mummy. Using toilet paper, wrap the person from head to toe. Secure with scotch tape. Remember to wrap legs and arms separately so the person can walk.

Table. Using a hot glue gun or tape, secure plastic plates, cups, utensils and paper napkins to a plastic picnic tablecloth. Cut a small slit in the center of the tablecloth and pull it over the head, resting on the shoulders.

Baby. In the baby aisle at the grocery store you can get baby bibs, bottles, pacifiers etc. Buy a few of these items and remember to suck your thumb. For a larger child or an adult to wear a baby bib, you may need to secure the bib around the neck with ribbon or tape.

Marshmallow. Cut a small slit in the bottom of a white trash bag. Pull the bag over the head and stuff with crumpled paper. Tie the bag closed around the person's legs, securing with tape.

S'More. Attach a bag of marshmallows, an empty graham cracker box and Hershey's chocolate bar wrappers to your clothing using tape, hot glue or staples.

Birthday Cake. There is a wide selection of birthday candles available in the baking aisle of the grocery store. Pick one and hot-glue it to the top of a hat or cap. You can wrap yourself up with paper streamers or a colorful plastic table cloth if you like as well.

Bag of Jellybeans. For the bag of jellybean costume you need a white trash bag, tape, and a package of balloons, preferably smaller ones. Blow up enough balloons to fill the bag. Cut two slits on the bottom of the bag and put your legs through them, pulling the bag up around your waist. Fill the bag with the balloons, taping them together and to the bag as necessary. Make some tape suspenders to hold the bag up over your shoulders, or use the drawstrings on the bag if it has them. You could also write JellyBelly on some of the balloons with a permanent marker.
