Party Fun with a New Twist

If you love to host parties and are bored with the standard party that everybody gives then I am writing to give you a solution to your bored party dilemma. Try some of these party suggestions for some new party fun.

First, sleepovers don't have to be just for teenagers. Host an adult sleepover where this time you won't sneak the drinks from the liquor cabinet. This would be a great opportunity to catch with your girlfriends and share some funny moments. You call this party a grown gossip party.

Now that it is summer you may want some new clothes. How about having a clothing swap party. Get rid of some clothes that don't fit and get some ones that do. You can even do this for books, magazines or cookbooks, or recipes.

Instead of your buying a cake for a birthday how every body bring a cake or dessert for the birthday celebration. Then everybody can indulge in some great desserts. Also, cupcakes and sundae decorating are not just for the kids. Why not buy all the ingredients and have everybody participate and make their own dessert creation.

When hosting your potluck host have one with a theme. Guests can bring ethic dishes, green dishes for a St Patrick Day Party with a twist, dishes with the letter A, healthy dishes, or vegetarian dishes.

How about hosting a TV themed party. Get together every week with your friends and watch desperate housewives together or any other show you all love.

You can even host a favorite movie night where everybody shares their favorite video. If you really want to be creative and have everybody bring food that is related to the movie. This beats the standard popcorn fare. For example, if you watching ET then everybody bring a dish using peanut butter and chocolate in honor of ET favorite candy Rease peanut butter cups.

These suggestions are just the tip of the iceberg. Once you get started with these party ideas you will see you will never have a boring standard party again.
