Creative Super Bowl Foods: Cut-Up Buffalo Drumsticks
There are numerous ways to create new buffalo chicken recipes, but there are not many of these recipes that contain all natural ingredients. My buffalo drumsticks recipe contains all natural ingredients, besides being very easy to prepare. Cut Up Buffalo DrumsticksServes 4 to 66ILbs of Drumsticks1½ cup of King Arthur Whole Wheat Flour2 Egg Land's Best Large Eggs2 tablespoons of Goya Adobo Seasoning / 1½ tablespoon of Cayenne Pepper 1½ Cup of Granulated Garlic / 1tbs of Mrs. Dash Table Blend (salt-free)Texas Pete Hot Sauce4 Cups of Canola Cooking Oil1. Pre-soak drumsticks in iodized salt water over night, or for 6 hours, if soaking overnight, place chicken in refrigerator to keep meat fresh before prepping drumsticks. After drumsticks have soaked for approximate time, immediately rinse off drumsticks under cool running water for several minutes. Begin to cut up drumsticks into 3 to 4 pieces, roll chicken in paper towels to remove excess water. Season both sides of buffalo chicken drumsticks, place in refrigerator uncovered for 10 minutes to keep meat fresh.2. Pre-heat cooking pan to medium degrees, let stand 10 to 15 minutes before adding drumsticks to cooking pan.3. Dip cut-up drumsticks in Egg Land's Best egg batter, immediately roll in drumstick cuts to King Arthur Whole Wheat Flour. Turn heat up to high, immediately add drumsticks to cooking pan, and turn drumsticks two times during the cooking process. Fry cut-up drumsticks for 10 to 15 minutes at medium or high heat depending on range capacity.4. Remove cut-up drumsticks from cooking pan, place meat in paper towels to remove excess oil. Add a generous amount of Texas Pete Hot Sauce on both sides of cut-up buffalo drumsticks. Top off cut-up buffalo drumsticks with a liberal amount of granulated garlic; serve immediately with a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing, along with a wedge of lemon.
