Creative Uses for Clothes Hangers

Are you over run with clothes hangers? Don't have enough clothes for all of them? This article will give you several ideas on ways to use extra clothes hangers. Most of these ideas will work only on the wire hangers but plastic hangers can be used in a few of them.

Now besides hanging your clothes on them you can use clothes hangers to hang your ties and belts. It is a great way to keep them organized and all in once place.

I am sure most of us have locked our keys in our car. A wire clothes hanger can help you get into your car when this happens. It may take some trying but it can do the trick.

Wire clothes hangers are great to take a long camping. They make excellent roasters for wienies and marshmallows.

A craft project for the kids is to make mobiles out of hangers. They can tie pretty ribbons, bells, pictures or whatever they wish from the mobile. This could make great gifts for Moms and Grandma's.

Something that has probably been done with clothes hangers since the tv was invented is to use it as an antennae. This works incredibly well. Add a little foil and you are good to go!

Here are some other great uses for clothes hangers. They can be used to extend plant hangers. Works well for your porches. You can hang a bird feeder in a tree. You can use them to hang a wreath on your front door. If you are really creative you may can even make a wreath out of a clothes hanger. How about making a portable paper towel holder? Just cut the bottom wire at the half point and slip in a roll of paper towels. Great for camping or in the shop.
