Creative Valentine Date Ideas for Kenosha, Wisconsin

I've lived in Kenosha, Wisconsin all of my life. I know that it can be tough to find just the right place to go on that special date. Try some of the idea's below to help plan your romantic date this Valentine's Day!

Romantic Date

Restaurant Recommendations:
Wine Knot- Very nice, candlelit atmosphere. Very classic, yet modern food selection. Of course, what would you do without the wine on a romantic date?
Victoria's Nautical Inn- This restaurant is beautifully decorated. I like to say it's Christmas all year long there! They have a very diverse menu and a full bar. The atmosphere makes it perfect for any special occasion dinner. The prices are moderate as well.
Villa D'Carlo- Who knew pizza could be romantic? Villa D'Carlo is another restaurant with a very nice, romantic atmosphere. This restaurant can book up fast so make your reservation a head of time!
Chop's on the Lake- Are you looking for the traditional steak and lobster or Seafood for your dinner selection this Valentine's Day? Then visit Chops on the Lake in Kenosha, WI. This restaurant features a romantic atmosphere with wonderful dinner selections. This restaurant is a little on the pricey side, but the selections are of high quality.
Panda Szechwan Restaurant- When you look at Panda, you would never think it looks the way it does on the inside. This restaurant is appropriate for casual to semi-elegant dining. Panda offer Szechwan cuisine that is to die for.
Other Romantic Recommendations:
Visit one of the many great salons in Kenosha and treat yourselves to a couples massage. Make sure to book in advance!

Group Date:

Honada- Honda is a really great restaurant that serves Hibachi style food as well as Sushi. This is a great place to go with a group of Friends or even as a couple! Make sure you make reservations so you can get a seat by the Hibachi grill! This will be a meal you will never forget!
What else to do with the group:
Bar-hopping can be fun with a group of friends! Travel down by the lake and you will find many of the popular bars that Kenosha offers. Some of my favorites include: The Boathouse, Captain Mikes, Wine Knot and Gordo's. There is an endless selections of places to stop in and have a few. Kenosha also offers a Taxi service called Safe-Ride which will get you home safely and for free!

Girl's Only:

La Hacienda- My girlfriend's and I love to go out for Mexican Food and Margarita's. If you do too, or to try something different, try out La Hacienda! it's a small restaurant, with great Mexican dishes! It's a fun place to take your family too!
What else to do with the girls:
Go to the movies: Tinseltown is an awesome theater to check out the newest movies! Grab your girls and see a romance, comedy, horror, or drama film!

Guy's Night Out:

Honada- You can see more about this restaurant above. I think this is a great place for a group of guys to go on Valentine's Day because they could possibly meet some ladies. Plus, the food is great!
Famous Dave's- You have to admit, most guys love a big steak or rack of Ribs. If you and your buds want a place to hang and get away from all of those couples that are out on a romantic date, try out Famous Dave's! You will not leave this place hungry because the portions are huge! You sure won't have to deal with candlelight and roses at this macho restaurant!

What else to do with the guys:
Bowling- Head to one of the three bowling alley's in Kenosha including Guttormsen's Recreation Center Recreation Center, Surfside Lanes, and Sheridan Lanes. Blow off some steam, have some beers, who knows? You might even meet a group of girls there!
