As Father's day approaches it is one again time to start thinking about innovative ways to celebrate with your dad. What can you do to celebrate Father's day this year that has not been done a hundred times before?
If you and your siblings are scattered across the country, why not celebrate and send dad to the one of you who is in the middle and then all of you fly in for a big Father's day party. How often does your dad get to see his grown children all together? Having his children, and perhaps grandchildren, to celebrate together would make Father's day an extra special day.
How about to celebrate you take your dad out to lunch or dinner for Father's day? Unfortunately everybody else has that same idea. This means long waits for tables, slow service and a crowded noisy restaurant. Why not instead cater a meal at you dad's home? This way he'll have his favorite foods, a quiet comfortable atmosphere, and be able to celebrate Father's day with his children without fighting the crowds to do it.
There are always special rates available on Father's day to help children celebrate with their dads. You can go to the zoo with your kids if they are little ones. Or your kids, if they're older, may send you out for the evening in an all expense paid opportunity to celebrate how much you mean to them. Many older children are trying to find different ways to show their dads on Father's day how much they are appreciated. So, to celebrate have your parents picked up in a limo and taken to the theatre for a performance of something you think your dad will enjoy. A gift like that will make it hard to forget how much effort you went to make his Father's day something to celebrate.
For all those kids who have been raised in single parent families solely by their mothers; on Father's day, give her an extra hug, she'll appreciate it.
