Creative Ways to Give Money for Christmas or Just Because

Angel Vee
Are you looking for creative ways of giving money as a gift for Christmas? Well, for that matter any occasion really. Some of the coolest ways is to make a money tree, in a bar of soap, make a origami, or do a fun scavenger hunt. However, these ideas are so played out, and quite boring now. You need to think outside of the box, and get the creativity flowing.

Box Of Chocolates

Ok, this idea probably sounds boring to some. However let me explain to you how this can be such a creativity way to make anyone pleased. Buy a box of good chocolates.

Make sure to buy one that has the wrapping paper on it, so this way you can take it off and put it back on.

Pick up each piece of chocolate, and place the desire amount of money under each piece. Make sure you fold up the money as tight and small as possible without it being bulky and noticeable.

Put the chocolates back in place, re-wrap the box, place a bow on top, and tie some money around the bow. Now the person receiving this gift already seen they got money for Christmas, so they won't expect anymore.

Mixed Green Salad

On Christmas Eve or day of occasion make sure to include a mixed green salad with your lunch or dinner. Money is green, and who doesn't like a bunch of mixed green with some cold hard cash? Have the person eat their way to the money, but do not use a lot of dressing.

Text Message Using A Money Quote

Almost everyone owns a cellphone. Start out by sending them a hint about money like "Blank Is The Root Of All Evil." If they are old enough they might figure the word that belongs in the blank. Once they figure it out, send them another text with a math equation to accommodate the amount your giving them for a gift. Then tell them to put the two things together, and look under the Christmas Tree skirt for the surprise.

If they are too young, help them out by saying this quote over and over again until the time comes.

Gum

Buy a six pack of gum. Unwrap each piece and replace it with a money amount. The person receiving this gift will think "cool I got lots of chewing time." Kids will love this idea.

Now for those who rather buy something online, you can buy a dollar bill crown, money bow, Christmas Money tree, money ornament, money gift wrap, or a money ball, and place your own money into it.

Fun ideas! Money can seem like an impersonal gift but with creative ideas like this there is some real thought put into it. I'll probably use the chocolate or gum idea for my nieces and nephews this Christmas!
