Plan a date, like any other, for Valentines Day evening. You want no indication that you are about to propose to her. This cute and romantic inspiration came from my cousin... Buy her a dozen roses and when you bring them with you on the date let her know that you will love her until the last one dies. The kicker is that you will put a silk rose in the mix. Instead of ordering a dozen, order 11 and a silk rose. Tell her that when the last one dies, you need her to call you ASAP. She will be taken back, but here is the plan...
In about a week all of the real flowers will be dead and she will know that the silk one is left. Buy another fresh real flower and tie the ring around a ribbon, then tie it around the rose. Bring it to her when she calls you. As you hand her the rose tell her... "My love for you is as beautiful and real as this rose, but it will never die... it will last forever as this diamond tie around it"... "Will you marry me".
Ah, you see... a week long proposal that she will cherish forever.
Have fun one cold and snowy afternoon...make snow angels together, have a snowball fight. End the evening with building a snow family. Make a man, kids and a woman. Make sure you find a twig with smaller twigs attached at the end, for her hands. Continue making snow kids... Then when you are done say... "Oh she is missing something".... send her over to the snow woman and follow her. When she stops get on one knee,so when she turns, you are in position. (Put the ring on one of the twigs when she isn't looking). When she turns, tell her that you want to start a family with her and ask her to marry you.
Such a warm and fuzzy proposal.... how fun!
Take her back to your very first date... Mimick it to the very detail. Order or make the same food.... watch the same movie.... dance to the same song.... whatever it may be....Then in the end of the evening say "I never want to miss a beat and I would gladly start all over again as long as I am with you". Propose to her. She will be so impressed that you remember all the details.... she definitely remembers.
Maybe these ideas for a Valentines Day proposal will spark some inspiration for you. Make her feel like the special Valentine that she is with the commitment of a lifetime. ♥
