Both nights start at 7:00 pm and will feature prizes, displays and merchandise, plus
fun and frightening surprises! Just like the original Creature Features show, you never know what to expect!
Tickets are $9.50 per person. The beautiful Grand Lake Theater is located at 3200 Grand Avenue, Oakland, CA 94610 and features a working Mighty Wurlitzer organ.
About Bay Area Film Events - Bay Area Film Events (BAFE) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving the movie-going experience.
Going to the movies used to be an event, an experience never to be forgotten. This is the movie-going adventure BAFE brings to a whole new generation of moviegoers and brings back for the generations that grew up with that experience.
Bay Area Film Events screens the classic and cult films from yesterday and the limited release, independent and hard to see films of today. Anyone can screen a film, but BAFE makes it an event! Through the use of guests, displays, on-stage talent and multimedia support, BAFE presents movies as a complete show and not just a movie screening.
BAFE provides the live support, promotions and extra, added showmanship that will excite audiences and get them out of their living rooms and back in the theaters where movies were meant to be seen!
Through repeat business and new audiences from throughout the Bay Area, BAFE hopes to keep the cinematic dreams alive for generations to come! Past shows have included GodzillaFest, the James Bond 007 Weekend to Thrill, Creature of the Black Lagoon in 3D, several Beatles related shows, a tribute to Bob Wilkins, and many more!
Most recently, they featured Creature Features Night at AT&T Park in San Francisco, with a screening of Night of the Living Dead and special guest Judith O'Dea after the Giants played.
