Credit Cards that Pay You: Earn a Return with Every Credit Card Purchase

Credit cards seem to be used more than cash these days, but with interest rates coupled with all the fees most credit card companies charge, using plastic for your purchases can become quite expensive.

Many credit card companies offer rewards programs, these programs refund a small percentage of every dollar you spend. These are really great programs, especially if you use your card a lot. Overtime you could get free airline tickets, hotel rooms and much more.

One way to find out more of the benefits offered by credit cards is to visit their online sites. There's also sites that list a numerous amount of available cards and the benefits associated with each like CreditCard.com. With all the options you can find a card that pays you every time you use it.

The Miles Edge Card offered by Bank of America lets you earn one point for every dollar you spend. Points can be used for multiple things such as hotels, renting a car, airline tickets, dining, theme parks and more.

The card offers 0% introductory rates for the first six months, this rate will also apply to any balances you might want to transfer from another card. The Miles Edge credit card will start you off with 1,000 bonus points for the initial use.

An annual fee of $19 is charged to your account each year, which is low compared to some annual fees. The annual percentage rate (APR) for this credit card will go up to 11.49% after you've had the card for six months.

The Total Rewards Platinum Plus Visa Card offers 0% APR rates for their cards to, but with this card that rate is good for one year. After the year an APR of 9.99% will be charged and there isnt' an annual fee.

Bonus reward credits are earned at the rate of one per dollar spent on net retail purchases, with a bonus of 2,500 with the first use. The bonus rewards can be used for merchandise, fine dining, room upgrades, travel and more.

The Chase TravelPlus Visa Card is another one that offers various things that you can earn with your miles, including cruises, renting a car and airline tickets. Using this credit card on travel purchases you earn two miles per dollar and earnings on all other purchases are one mile per dollar.

Start out the first year with 0% APR on both balance transfers and purchases. The regular APR of 17.49% will apply after the first year has ended. This card doesn't have an annual fee.

The Blue Sky credit card is offered by American Express, points are earned every time you use this card. And, 7,500 points will earn you up to $100 off on airlines, cruises, rental cars and hotel rooms.

Another one offering 0% APR for the first six months, as low as prime plus 4.99% APR is charged after the initial period. There isn't an annual fee with this credit card and it also includes several extras such as travel accident insurance, return protection and buyers assurance plans.

Yet another offering from American Express is the Bank of America Rewards credit card. The first year is 0% APR, the regular APR is 9.90% and no annual fee is charged.

One point is earned for every dollar spent and these can be used for merchandise, hotel stays, airlines, dining and even cash just to name a few. Carrying this credit card gives you access to special offers from American Express.

The Capital One No Hassle Miles Rewards credit card lets you earn more than other cards by giving 1.25 miles for each dollar you spend. There isn't an annual fee, the APR introductory rate is 0% and as low as 9.40% there after.

There's no limit to the amount of miles you can earn and the they are good for the lifetime of your account. Miles can be redeemed for trips with any airlines, anytime.

Citi Banks Platinum Select/AAdvantage World MasterCard allows you to earn up to 100,000 miles each year at the rate of one per dollar spent. Miles can be redeemed at American Airlines, luxury hotels and car rental agencies.

This credit card doesn't have a set amount that you're allowed to spend, which would come in very handy for emergencies. The $85 annual fee is waived for the first year, 16.49% is the regualar APR on this credit card.

Citi Bank also offers the Bronze/AAdvantage MasterCard, first use earns you 5,000 miles, there's no annual fee and you'll earn one mile for every two dollars you spend on eligible purchases.

Mile limit is set at 25,000 each year and never expire. Miles can be used for car rentals, top airlines around the world and there's literally hundreds of hotels worldwide to choose from.

The Gold/AAdvantage World MasterCard, also from Citi Bank, offers no annual fee for the first year, annual fee of $50 there after, one mile for every dollar of eligible purchases and 12,500 bonus miles the first time you use this credit card.

There's no spending limit set and the average APR is 16.49% APR. Miles are good at many airlines, hotels and car rentals around the world and the miles you accumalate never expire with this credit card.

Companies now are offering such a wide array of extra benefits with the cards they offer giving you the option to almost carry a credit card customized for your exact needs!

Choice Privileges Visa Platimum offered through Bank of America credits your account with two points every time you spend a dollar. Using this card at a Choice Privileges location such as Comfort Inn, Sleep Inn and more will get you 15 points for each dollar you spend.

There is no annual fee, total security protection is included and your first purchase will earn you 8,000 points. Introductory APR for the first six months is 1.9% and 16.49% APR is the regular rate charged.
