One of the most creepiest pets that you can purchase is a tarantula. These are very large and hairy spiders. A lot of kids will have tarantulas as pets and it will drive their parents crazy when they escape from their cages. Some kids will also play tricks on their parents with their pets. If you see a very large hairy spider running around the house, make sure that your childs tarantula didn't escape. They would be very upset to find out that their little Hairy passed away. Tarantulas are one of the only spiders that people will keep as a pet.
While walking through a pet store I saw a very large insect run across the floor and hide behind a fish tank. Then I realized that this large insect was actually a hissing cockroach. I don't know why some people go through great extremes to get rid of cockroaches and yet some other people decide to purchase cockroaches and keep them as pets. These cockroaches are not your average roach, they are about 10 times the size.
Some people choose to keep millipedes, scorpions and snakes. Scorpions are not good pets because they can actually sting you with their tails. Millipedes might not harm you but they are very large and quite disgusting. Snakes are creepy to some people but it seems that they are becoming a lot more popular, especially towards children. Some snakes such as poisonous snakes should never be kept as pets.
People purchase a lot of creepy pets. Kids love creepy pets perhaps even more than adults do. Make sure that the pet will not harm your child before purchasing the pet for your son or daughter.
Some people will also keep different lizards and frogs. These animals are not as creepy as the rest, but they really bother some people. Another creepy pet to have is a pet insect such as the walking stick. While they are very popular, they are creepy because they look like a stick. When people see it start to move it's quite interesting. Kids also keep other insects as pets because the parents really don't consider an insect as a pet.
