After reading many reviews on-line and shopping in different stores, I decided on the Graco Sarah 4 in 1 crib. It was purchased for around $160 which is less expensive than most convertible cribs. With such a discounted price compared to most cribs, I thought it would lack quality. Boy was I wrong! This crib seems to be better build than most $300 - $500 cribs.
The color was beautiful and the quality of work was great! I purchased the cherry finish and it matched all the other Graco furniture purchases that I made. While some brands say they are the same finish, they are hard to match. I was very pleased that all my furniture was the same color.
While most products are hard to assemble, this crib was a breeze. I found the instructions very easy to understand and comprehend. They provided both a worded description and pictures to go by, which I found very helpful. The pre-assembled pieces were not too heavy. I found that at 71/2 months pregnant, I could put this together by myself.
This crib also has the drop rail feature to allow easier access to your child, which is nice to be able to reach down when they are sleeping to lay them down. The rail moves up and down very smoothly without any noise, which is wonderful when you are holding a sleeping baby. You only need one hand in order to move the rail up and down.
The crib has 4 wheels, 2 of which lock into place so the crib won't roll unless you want it too. The wheels moved very easily, so that I could position the crib perfectly in the bedroom.
This crib also features a 3 position mattress height adjustment, so you can raise or lower the mattress according to your preference or your child age or height.
Graco is a well known company with great customer service. They really stand behind there products and want the customer to be happy. Which is a rare find this day in age. All the Graco representatives are very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They offer a 5 year warranty on this product.
I would recommend this product and company to anyone. They have exceeded my expectations.
