We are always hearing stories about the crime rate in flint being so high. There is also some new thing on the news about someone getting hurt or killed in flint. Why is that? why has flint become so dangerous for our children? Flint schools are said to have a not so great educational track record, but its hard for our children to learn if they do not feel comfortable in the school enviroment. Police are constantly working to try to solve the mysterious of flint. They are constantly working to prevent new crimes from happening, helping to protect our children. Flint does not seem like its an all that bad city. If it could just get cleaned up a little bit, it could be a really nice place to live. But there are so many condemned buildings, boarded up houses, and etc. And why does almost every house in flint have bars on the windows and doors? if someone wants to break into your house, then chances are that having bars on the windows and doors is not going to stop them. Flint needs some work. I'll say that. But what it really needs to focus on is working on its crime rate. There is too much violence and crime going on in flint. And our kids are walking to school etc and we need to know that they are safe. I hate to say it but flint has become almost as violent as Detroit. And thats pretty bad. I don't understand how flint got the way it has, It used to be so nice, and calm and now every day there are shootings and stabbings. It makes me sick. I just recently moved out of flint. and i have to tell you the whole time i lived in flint i was a little scared. Only because you always hear all those stories about people who live in flint and get hurt. People in flint have no feelings. They don't care who they hurt or what they have to do as long as they get what they want. Thats why flint today is not a safe place. We really need to work on improving our schools, keeping our kids safe and making Flint a safer place to live. The reason that Flint has so many boarded up house's and vacant buildings is because people move out of Flint and quit there jobs because they don't feel safe enough living in flint. So we need to work on that. Make flint the same safe place that it once was.
