100: Season 5 Episode 9
This case hits close to home. The BAU race against the clock in order to try and save Aaron's wife and son, Haley and Jack, from Foyet. Foyet at one time thought to be the only survivor of a serial killers spree. As it turns out he was the killer himself that studied in order to learn how to self inflict wounds that would have appeared too great to be done to himself. The BAU and Aaron's family then become the targets of Foyet when Aaron's hangs up on him and refusing to take the deal that Foyet is offering to stop killing. The deal Aaron refused was that Foyet would stop killing if the BAU stopped looking for him.
Leading up to this episode the BAU had multiple run in's with Foyet. He waited in Aaron's apartment and stabbed him multiple times but only enough to inflict the most possible pain without killing him. Foyet attacked Morgan stealing his FBI credentials but didn't have time to kill him.
Aaron didn't make a deal with the devil and in the end he paid dearly. Haley and Jack went into protective custody with the US Marshalls. Aaron has no idea where they were and could not see his son at all. Foyet found them and killed the Marshall that was protecting them and lured Haley to hers and Aaron's marital home that had been sitting empty since Haley and Jack went into the program.
Once Haley got to the house she called Aaron at Foyet's request still thinking he is a US Marshall that has taken over for Sam. Aaron informed Haley that Foyet was the Reaper. He knew this was the end and asked to speak to Jack. He told Jack that his daddy loved him and that he needed to help daddy "work the case". Haley then tells Aaron that she loves him and we hear gun shots. Aaron is the first to arrive on the scene to find his dead wife. As Foyet tells Aaron he surrenders, Aaron answers by filling him with several bullets holes. Jack is found safe and sound in a window bench where he fell asleep.
