Sometimes I feel fed up with how the world is letting them rot away in such a harsh, changeable, messed up world
People say you can't change the world as it is
For it is already changed anyways but that is not true
You can do something if you set your mind on it and feel
Strongly about it
When people hear about how the ozone layer is spreading
How the greenhouse effect in on the rise, people just give up or do more to worsen the problem
If only the world would just stop being so ignorant and narrow
Then maybe we could get somewhere than no where
At this moment the world is crying out for help but no one seems to be listening
Children all around the world are yelling or screaming, but
Nothing is coming out
The older generation is supposed to try to make or give the next generation an early start
Putting the world back together as it once was at one time
But they just don't seem to care anymore
Some still do, but not enough to stand up and say, "This all has to end we are killing our own children and don't even care.
What right do we have to take some else's life into our hands if we can not protect our own?"
When people start taking care of their own then maybe we can get somewhere, but not alone
We need everyone to help and that is how it has to be
Just for a minute would you just stop and think of other people
Than yourselves and you would see how badly people need your help
Someone is crying out, "help!", but no one is listening
No one is there to wipe away the tears and say it is going
To be alright
So we have to hold in that anger and sadness until is consumes us
If that is the only way then I am sorry there has to be another way to turn this all around
And so if there isn't another way, I shall just bow my head and weep in silence until I have to weep no more
