Cristina Warthen, a 35-year-old Stanford law graduate, has pleaded guilty to tax invasion. Cristina agreed in the plea deal to pay $313,134 in penalties for not paying taxes. The Los Angeles times has reported that Cristina allegedly boasted online that she paid off her student loans by working as a high-priced call girl.

In 2004 Cristina married David Warthen, the ask jeeves co-founder. After getting married in 2004, David tried to help his wife out by claiming he had given her money as a gift in a civil forfeiture case that was brought against her. Cristina was known as "Brazil" and previously advertised her call girl services on the Website called Touchofbrazil.net. Prior to marrying David Warthen her name was Cristina Schultz.

Cristina Warthen will be sentenced on June 15th. Under the plea agreement she will avoid jail time but will be on house arrest for a year. A photo of Cristina Warthen can be found here. Many people are now scouring the internet hoping to find nude pictures of Cristina.

Cristina Warthen is not the first call girl in recent news. The former governor of New York, Eliot Spitzer, admitted in March of 2008 that he had used a call girl service. Governor Spitzer resigned after the information came out about his use of a call girl named "Kristen." The call girl, who went by the name of Kristen, was Ashley Alexandra Dupre. She worked for the now notorious "Emperor's club" in New York. The New York Times reported that the Emperor's club took in over $1 million in profit over four years. The call girls in the Emperor's club charged anywhere from $1,500 to $5,500 an hour.

One of the most famous escort services was ran by Hollywood Madame, Hedi Fleiss. Hedi Fleiss gave a interview to Newsweek magazine and gave her opinion of Governor Spitzer. In the interview, she told Newsweek she was not surprised someone as high profile as Gov. Spitzer would get into trouble and take risks. Hedi Fleiss made worldwide news in 1993 when she was arrested in a undercover operation. Hedi Fleiss spent 21 months in prison when she was convicted on federal charges of tax evasion ,money laundering and conspiracy. Hedi Fleiss has been trying to set up a "Stud ranch" in a part of Nevada where prostitution is legal.

Is this for real? Or another of the I.R.S.'s publicity stunts in order to terrorize the public since so many taxpayers are outraged at what their tax monies are now being spent on that there are over two hour waits when you even try to call them at peak times anymore.
