Detroit rock/hip-hop band Critical Bill are gearing up for the release of their fifth album Underground Kingdom on Tuesday, March 16.

The band will be holding a cd release party at Detroit's Emerald Theatre on Saturday, March 13 at 6:00 p.m..

In addition to a performance by Critical Bill, the party will also feature sets by local bands Hell Rides North, Lithium, Stellar Drive and Madonna Brothers.

Fans get a copy of Underground Kingdom with the purchase of a ticket for the show at $10.

Critical Bill is known for their energetic live perfomances so the show will certainly be one that shouldn't be missed.

"Beam Me Up", the first single off of the new album has been a staple at the band's recent live shows and the band premiered the Detroit-shot video at their annual Thanksgiving show at the Emerald Theatre.

The song "Favorite Drug", another new song off the album, a laid back party track, is currently the People's Champion on Windsor's 89X Radio for the second night in a row beating out new tracks from Bullet For My Valentine and Atreyu.
