Crochet hook G/4.25
Empty toilet tissue roll
Gauge: 4 sc rows = 1 inch
Size: Ghost =5 ½ inches tall

Ghost
Rnd 1: With white, ch 2, 8 sc in 2nd ch from the hook. Do not join rounds but use a marker to mark last st (8)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around (16).
Rnd 3: (Sc in each of next 3 sc, 2 sc in next st) 4 times (20).
Rnd 4-9: Sc in each sc (20)
Rnd 10: (sc 2 sts tog) 5 times (10)
Rnd 11: Sc in each sc (10).
Rnd 12: 2 sc in each st (20)
Rnd 13: This is the round where the arms are made. Sc in each of next 6 sts, (ch 10, sl st in 4th ch from the hook, ch 4, sl st in same sp, ch 3, sl st in same sp, sl st in each rem 6 chs)-arm made, sc in each of next 8 sts, rep between the () once, sc in each rem 6 sc (20 sc and 2 arms)
Rnd 14: Sc in each of next 6 sc, skip arm, pulling it toward you, sc in each of next 8 sc, skip arm, pulling it toward you, sc in each rem 6 sts (20).
Rnd 15: Sc in each sc (20)
Rnd 16-22: Sc in each sc (20).
Rnd 23: Sl st in each sc. Fasten off.
Pumpkin
Rnd 1: With orange ch 4, 11 dc in the 4th ch from the hook, join to top of beginning ch-4 (12).Rnd 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in same st, 2dc in each rem dc. Join with a sl st to beg ch 3. (24).
Rnd 3: Ch 3, dc in each of next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc, (dc in each of next 4 dc, 2 dc in next dc) 5 times, join with a sl st to top of beginning ch-3 (30)
Rnd 4-6: Ch 3, dc in each dc, join with a sl st to top of beginning ch-3 (30).
Rnd 7: Ch 1, (sc in each of next 3 dc, 2 sc tog) around, join with a sl st to beginning ch-1, (28).
Handle
Row 1: With a sl st, attach green yarn to round 7 joining sc of pumpkin, ch 25, skip next 11 sc, sl st in next sc.
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each ch st across, join in same st as original sc. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Pumpkin Lid Hat
Rnd 1: With orange, ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from the hook (6).Rnd 2: (Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) 3 times (9).
Rnd 3: (2 sc in each sc) 9 times
Rnd 4: Sc in each sc. Join with a sl st to fist sc. Fasten off. (18).
Stem
Row 1: With green, attach yarn with a sl st to first sc if rnd 1. Ch 4, sl st in sc ch from the hook and in each rem 2 chs. Fasten off. Weave in end.
Sew hat on ghost with a jaunty tilt.
Finishing
Crush top of toilet paper roll. Insert into ghost. Using simple stitches, embroider a face on ghost. Tie an orange piece of yarn around neck.Embroider face on pumpkin.
Place ghost in pumpkin and enjoy!
