How cute would that little lavender bunny be as a little cap?
That's all it took - I was off like a herd of turtles trying to come up with something just right. And I'll admit it; I'm terribly proud of the final crochet cap. It will be a gift for my youngest niece.
When you use this pattern, make sure that you use stitch markers. The cap and bunny ears should be crocheted in the same way as amigurumi, which means that you do not join rounds. This leaves a perfectly seamless, utterly adorable look.

Finishing
Sew both ears on to the cap using a yarn needle. This is much easier if you leave a long tail of yarn when you finish off each ear, so that you can use the tail to connect it to the cap.
Attach eyes (if desired) just above the brim.
