The website which I purchase condoms from has a lot of brands that I have never heard of, including a brand called "Crown." According to the website, the Crown Skinless Condom was the favorite condom of customers and staff, and they were only about $5 per dozen, so I decided to give them a try. Crown Condoms are made by Okamoto, who used to make them in Japan, but now manufacturers its products in Thailand. When my Crown Condoms arrived, they looked just like any other condom and were individually wrapped in easy-to-tear foil wrappers.
Crown Condoms have a slight pinkish-red color to them, but they become almost clear when they are put on. Crown Condoms are lubricated, however the addition of a condom-safe lubricant can make sex more fun. My boyfriend and I have both been surprised by just how thin the Crown Condoms feel. After using Crown Condoms for awhile, the condoms made by Trojan and Lifestyles (even the "ultra-thin" ones) feel noticeably thicker. Because the Crown Condom is so thin, it warms up much faster during sex and really transmits body heat and sensations much better than "ordinary" condoms. Even though Crown Condoms are thin, they are also strong--I have not had a single one break during sex after a year of using them, which is not something I can say for the big brands.
Crown Condoms have definitely become my favorite condoms available today. They become almost "invisible" during sex, and they don't bunch up or create a lot of friction like other condoms I've tried. Crown Condoms will fit most men, and since they are so thin, they will also work for most men that normally need a larger condom like the Trojan Magnum. I've never seen Crown Condoms available in a retail store, but they are widely available from mail-order catalogs and internet websites. Even if you hate wearing condoms, you might be pleasantly surprised at how good the Crown ones can feel during sex. For more information about Crown Condoms, check out the manufacturer website listed in the resources section of this article.
