A major station on Beijing's very efficient subway system is just a few city blocks away.
Within a few minutes of walking from the hotel entrance, much of it through beautiful park-like areas, are the Convention Center, National Art Gallery, financial district, St. Joseph's Cathedral, and the historic destinations of the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Temple of Heaven and The Imperial Gardens.
For those who want to sign up for tours of specific destinations throughout the city and beyond, such as to the Great Wall of China, the hotel desk can furnish complete information and make reservations for guests. Desk service at the hotel is open 24 hours, as is room service.
