The Carribbean Princess was launched in 2004 and it is registered in Bermuda. It can carry 3,100 passengers, has a crew of 1,200, 19 decks and a tonnage of 116,000. This is luxery liner with excellent food, amenities, services and is kid friendly. There are areas with innovating kids' programs, exquisite spa and exercise facilities, magnificent dining areas, wonderful public rooms, outdoor daytime cinema, spacious outdoor sitting areas with great chairs and wool throw rugs, good shore excursions, elegant cabins, exciting entertainment, excellent service and an is overall very good value for money.

So, where to start with this lovely vacation. If you are looking for a cruise whether single, in a couple or as a family, then this is the ship for you. This totally modern cruise liner genuinely stands out above its competition. This ship was designed to sail the Carribbean on a year-round basis and offers an exquisite blend of relaxation, cuisine, entertainment along with it's highly qualified and well-trained staff members. There are restaurants open during the daytime and at night and a show lounge, Club Fusion, which includes a disco, slots and is very rarely crowded.

Your dining experience includes three traditional dining rooms with an excellent range of food on offer. This, combined with the experienced staff makes dining a very pleasent experience. You may experience a wait to be seated at peak times however this is not enough to put you off your meal. The coral dining room serves breakfast and lunch. Cafe Caribe offers an evening buffet which regularly features carribean influenced dishes. Lobster is available in the Cafe Caribe eatery. Sterling Steakhouse offers an American style eatery with steak, prime rib and potatoes. Sabatini's Tratorria offers a seven course evening meal. The Horizon Court serves a buffet and other restaurants include a pizzeria and small cafe. You can also order room service.

The Public rooms are extensive and include a 750 seater Princess Theatre. The Princess Theatre is highly elegant and spans two decks. Lounges on the liner include Skywalkers, the ship top disco. Other bars include, the wheelhouse Bar, The Explorers Lounge, a sports bar named Churchills Lounge and your obligatory Casino. Other public areas include a three deck high Atrium, shops, a library, internet connected areas, a coffee bar and one of the highlights, Crooners. This is a sea and people-watching bar during the daytime and the core of the ship at night. A pianist plays at Crooners which makes it the livliest places on the ship.

There are many and varied cabin sizes available and priced according to luxury. The cabins are equipped with mini fridges and a TV with a variety of channels. Cabins include the Grand Suite, the Suites and the Mini-Suite. For fitness fanatics there is the Lotus Spa which is equipped with every body stretching piece of equipment on earth. Other features in the spa include the thalossotherapy pool, a beauty salon, a aromatic steam room and a very grand waiting room. Beyond the Spa area there are three main pools and each of the pool areas come with whirlpools. Other amenities include ping pong, basketball and paddle tennis. This liner is definitely worth a vacation and I award it 5 star status.
