Can You Win Money Playing Blackjack on a Cruise Ship?

Cruise Ships are a great place to play blackjack, especially while counting cards. Who wouldn't enjoy sailing on a luxury vessel to the Caribbean, or maybe around the world, if they could make money while traveling? Playing Blackjack can be fun, and sometimes you can make money, particularly if you know how to card count.

There are a number of reasons that Cruise Ships are a choice location to play Blackjack. If you play and don't know how to count cards, you should teach yourself, as this will increase your odds greatly. For an article that describes the basics, see "Make Money Playing Blackjack & Counting Cards ." Cruise ships are set up for the passengers' enjoyment. They are not set up to make money off the casino, as it is just a side business. Therefore, they tend to have looser casino rules for the games.

If you're familiar with my article, "Play Blackjack and Count Cards at the Casino - is it Legal?", then you know that if you play Blackjack and count cards it is best not to be spotted. Cruise Ships have proven to be the perfect hide-out I have found in my past playing. Perhaps it is because those monitoring the casinos games on cruising ships are less well trained. Maybe they just don't lose enough to care, or maybe they don't want to make a scene by asking someone not to play. No matter why, in my experience they don't mind card counting while on the ship.

On the last cruising vacation I took, in between tanning on the deck, visiting the gym and eating the wonderful chef's creations, I would be playing Blackjack while counting cards in the Cruise Ship casino. At first I was cautious when counting cards, especially as increasing my bets when the odds were in my favor.

After a while, I realized that no one cared about my card counting and I began to increase my bets to five and six times ordinary when the deck was full of aces. They did not even use an automatic card shuffler. They played with a minimal number of decks. All the best elements to make money, and for counting cards, were present on this Cruise Ship.

Like with any gambling, there is a risk of losing all your money, but on this cruise I was able to make hundreds of dollars. I was buying drinks for everyone and handing out chips to my fellow players. I never recommend playing for longer than a few hours at a time no matter whether you can make money.

I highly recommend Cruise Ships for Blackjack while card counting. A person can make money, but even if they lose it all, at least the food and entertainment will still be there. You may also enjoy visiting
