o where is mama
she not feed me many days
the big rocks bury
o where is mama
too dark now she not here
the man comes for me
Jesus wept.

Post a CommentHeartfelt and so very touching.
Very sweet and sad. I felt for those who were trapped in the earthquake.
Linda, when you wrote this, I remember reading. I remember crying. I thought I left a comment then. Guess I was at a loss for words. I still am. God bless them all and those who help them out of darkness.
Sad situation. We all need to do our part to help: rich, poor, adult and child. Yes. yes. yes that's what Jesus would say.
this compact poem..delivers a powerful punch. Well done!
Very well said. Sadness has got to be overwhelming.
Moving poem.
Very moving! I have donated to the relief effort, and I hope that everyone on AC will give whatever they can afford.
I think about these kids every day. What parent doesn't feel the pain their parents must have felt, knowing their children would be left alone while breathing their last breaths. Horrifying!
Excellent and sad tribute. Great resources to donate to as well.
