Crystal Gives Emotional Performance Thats Brilliant

The odds on favorite to win Season 9 American Idol is Crystal Bowersox as everyone knows, but if you missed her performance last night you need to download it today and listen to this girl sing.

People Get Ready

People get ready there is a train coming and its Crystal Bowersox. Crystal gave the best performance of the season last night as she sang "People Get Ready," a Curtis Mayfield hit.

I loved the fact that among the controversy surrounding her quiting American Idol Crystal Bowersox gives a heartfelt and riveting performance of this gospel laced song on Inspiration Night.

As she started singing with no instrument or back-up I could feel the lump in my throat and tears in my eyes starting to form. Crystal Bowersox who always makes a great song selection was perfect in this selection and all judges agreed. Randy Jackson gave her a standing "O". Ellen said she was great as Kara remarked as to her beauty. Simon was like a proud papa as he said it was brilliant.

Crystal's Sound is Unique

Unlike other contestants on this show Crystal has a sound that she has perfected and is unique. Her voice kind of reminds me of Janice with some Bonnie Raitt mixed in, but she no doubt has soul unmatched in today's marketplace of singers. The combination of soul and raspy sound makes her a huge star in a short time.

Crystal Gave a Very Emotional Performance for Dad

Crystal was suburb even as she broke down in tears towards the end of the song. She had spied her father who had for the first time been there in person to get on board the Crystal train.

What a future Crystal Bowersox has in store after this season is over. I for one will be first in line to buy her debut album and to purchase tickets to her first concert.

Great performance Crystal!
