Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze Face Off in 2010's American Idol Season Nine
Casey James Exits with Classic Style
Going Home
Casey seemed to know that he would be leaving tonight. He never really bought into the idea that he could be the last one standing. After all, I'm sure he reads some of the internet hype too. He told host Ryan Seacrest that he felt honored to have made it as far as he did. Casey possesses a humble quality and it's appealing. He has a good voice. Combine that with his great guitar skill, and the result is a star in the making. Casey brought a little girl-seemingly an acquaintance-out of the audience to sit with him as he sang John Mayer's "Daughters". It was a touching performance.
Facing Off
Crystal Bowersox has been a powerhouse from the start. She has a style that's all her own. The girl can really sing. The expectations were high for Crystal right out of the gate, as she impressed the American Idol judges from day one. The criticisms were few and far between for Crystal. Whether she lands a spot in the finale or not next week, record producers will be knocking her door down.
Lee DeWyze kept getting stronger as each week progressed on American Idol. I love the raspy tone and edge to his voice. He always puts me in mind of Bruce Springsteen, and that's a very good thing. Lee has been a solid performer the whole way. He exudes a shy quality that appeals to viewers. We'll be hearing Lee on the radio in no time as well.
It's no wonder the Idol's hometown fans were bursting with pride. They have come a long way in a short time. It's tough to tell which way the vote will go next week. One thing is for sure...Crystal and Lee's futures will no doubt seem surreal to them for quite a while to come.

Both are wonderful, but hoping for Lee!!!!
Good work, well done !
I can't wait to see who wins! I love Crystal!
Both Lee and Crystal will have successful careers regardless of who wins. Having said that ... I'm rooting for Lee!
Nice job with this.
I watched last night and now I don't care who wins, I love them both!
Believe it or not, I watched the show! :) Although Casey was my top choice (I really like looking at him), I am now pulling for Lee, his hometown is a short distance from where I live so all over our news channels and newspapers...it is about Lee! I hope he wins!
Thanks for the update.. :o)
This show seems to be going on forever! :)
