1. Sea Salt: Put crystals that need to be recharged into container. Fill with natural sea salt to cover the crystals. Allow crystals to "soak" in the salt for 24 hours. Pull the crystals out and rinse under cool water to remove any excess salt. Dry and allow the crystal to sit in the sun for two to three hours. Not recommended for crystals that are set in pendants or amulets (Source: Crystal Bay).
2. Running Water: If you are lucky enough to live near a river, stream or ocean, you can hold your crystals under the moving water for three to four minutes. But if you do not, running tap water will also work, still holding under for three or four minutes. After the time has lapse, dry and allow crystals to be exposes to open air and sunlight for two to three hours. This method it not recommended for water soluble crystals. 3. Clear Quartz Cluster: This is by far the best way for any and all crystals whether they are delicate or not. Simply place crystals within the center of the cluster and allow them the stay for twenty-four hours. This method not only cleanses the crystals it also charges your crystals. Purchasing a cluster can be expensive, but if crystals are used daily, this method will allow crystals to be charged and cleansed - allowing another set to be used. (Source: The Crystal Bible)
4. Soil: If you have a garden that is in bloom, bury your crystals a few inches under the soil (just be sure to mark where buried) and allow them the stay within the earth's embrace for twenty-four hours. The earth's energy will cleanse as well as give its energy to charge. Rinse under running water, dry and allow the crystals to be exposed to the sun to two to three hours. (Source: Moonlight Bay).
5. Flowers: Petals from flowers such as roses or carnations can be used; actually any flower petals can be used. Place crystals in a bowl and cover with flower petals. Allow the crystals to sit for twenty-four hours. The flower's essence removes the negative energy while its purity and energy of the flower flows into the crystals (Source: Wicca for One by Raymond Buckland).
