Ctrl-Alt-Delete: A Web Comic Review

Gai
One of the best Web Comics around is one that goes by the name "Ctrl-Alt-Delete". It's a story, created by Tim Buckley, about a group of friends and their daily mundane adventures in nerdery. Well, perhaps mundane isn't the right word for it. They do, after all, have a Xbox robot and their recluse of a room mate owns a penguin. The setting and premise is pretty much run of the mill; spending most of the time talking about video games, movies, and other forms of entertainment that appeals to unmarried males age 16-28. But don't let that throw you off, while the premise might be common, the comic shines in nearly every other area. Allow me to illustrate:

Comedy: This is, of course, the focus of the comic's appeal. The timing and execution of the the jokes is top-notch and even when you haven't seen the movie or played the game that is being parodied the jokes are still funny and enjoyable.

Characters: During the early years of the comic the characters might seem to be somewhat 2 dementional, but this fades away as the emotions and motivations of the characters emerge from various trials and situations.

Consistancy: One common flaw, when it comes to web-comics, is that updates are often missed since the creators insist on having lives, families, and hobbies. But Ctrl-Alt-Delete, by memory, has never missed an update and this provides the reader with 4 new comics a week.

If there is one flaw that I can consider it would be the art work. This is not to say that it is bad; quite the opposite really. The character design is terrific, it's just that when you go from frame to frame, it is usually only the facial expressions that move very much. This is likely a compromise Tim made to ensure that his comic updates in a timely manner.

Over all, Ctrl-Alt-Delete is a terrific story that transcends its commonplace origin and brings to the reader an comedic tale about a sex, love, and video games.

Tim Buckley, the author, works 6 days a week on his comic. And some say he is, in fact, a zombie who feasts upon the souls of children.

I happen to like ctrl alt del and I think this is a really lousy review. Jesus if you're gonna put in the work of writing it, at least fix basic mistakes like '2 dementional'. That makes it sound like they have dementia.

I really, really want to know: How much did Buckley pay you for this?

The Proper Diction Defense is a useless argument to bring up on the internet, Mr. "somewhat 2 dementional".
And Ctrl+Alt+Delete has accumulated 3 megathreads of hate on Something Awful: B^U

I have consulted Stephen Hawking and he informed me that it is a scientific impossibility for you to be come any more stupid. If your intellect could shrink any farther, it would undoubtedly create a miniature black hole and swallow the entire planet.

BTW, "stupider" is not a word; next time use "more stupid". And in the future, when you attempt to insult someone, try to use proper diction.

I think I actually became stupider reading this hideously biased review.
