Pros
Size is the most prominent feature of this food processor. With 14-cup bowl capacity you can easily prepare large quantity of vegetables, meat or dough in a single run. The 720-watt motor is really powerful even when you're making tough bread or pizza dough. In short it can process anything you feed into it with breeze.
Next on the list is the quietness. This thing is actually pretty quiet even under heavy load. When it chops, slices or kneads you will hear nothing more than a humming sound. You won't find many powerful food processors that able to stay quiet while it's working hard.
If you've never used a food processor before don't worry. This machine comes with a tutorial video that will show you want a food processor can do and how to make it does the job well and safely. There is also a recipe booklet that will give you a nice start in using your first food processor.
The safety mechanism is also something to talk about. This food processor won't start unless every piece is aligned. New food processor users may think that this is an annoying feature but it is actually very important. The blades on this machine are extremely sharp. Without such safety measure you will definitely end up hurting yourself using it.
Cons
Unfortunately this food processor is pretty hard to clean especially when you process sticky food item like cheese. Hand washing the blade can be a pain so you may want to dump it into the dishwasher instead. However if you do use the dishwasher to wash the blades that could make the blades dull pretty fast. If you're willing to spend ten minutes cleaning the blades then I would suggest that you do that. Sharp blades require hand care if you want them to keep their sharp edge for a long time.
Conclusion
Even though the Cuisinart DFP-14BCN 14-cup food processor is not all that perfect it is still a very good piece of kitchen appliance to have. The powerful motor and large capacity bowl are really major time saver when processing large quantity of food.
