Do you like ice cream? Have you ever wanted to know how you can make ice cream at home quickly and easily? Well, now you can with the Cuisinart Supreme Commercial Style Ice Cream Maker.
This wonderful ice cream maker is made by Cuisinart and the company makes many high quality products and one of them is the Supreme Commercial Style Ice Cream Maker. The founder of Cuisinart is Carl Sontheimer. In 1973 Cuisinart got its start with an amazing machine called the food processor. The Conair Corporation has managed Cuisinart since 1989.
I always wanted to make ice cream, sorbets, and frozen yogurt at home and now I can with my Cuisinart Supreme Commercial Style Ice Cream Maker.
Let me tell you a little about this great product. The outer exterior of the ice cream maker is made with brushed stainless steel and there is a Cuisinart logo on the machine that makes it very attractive and goes well with many kitchen designs today. In my opinion, the ice cream maker has a very unique design and fits perfectly on my kitchen table and counter top.
The Cuisinart Supreme Commercial Style Ice Cream Maker comes with a limited 3 year warranty and comes with a great instructional manual along with ice cream, yogurt, and sorbet recipes.
The great thing about the Cuisinart Supreme Commercial Style Ice Cream Maker is that there is no need to pre-freeze any bowl. The machine has a built in compressor-freezer that does the freezing for you, so it takes much less time to make frozen ice cream, yogurt, and sorbet. With this ice cream maker, you can make batches of frozen desserts continuously without having to wait.
Cuisinart Supreme Commercial Style Ice Cream Maker comes with a 60 minute timer, so when your ice cream is frozen, it will automatically turn off. It has a 1 1/2 quart capacity that allows you to make large amounts of ice cream. The machine also comes with a clear plastic lid that has an ingredient spout, so that while the machine is in the process of making your chosen frozen dessert, you can add ingredients such as fruit, chocolate, or any other ingredients that you want to add to it. Pretty neat huh?
My experience with this ice cream machine has been a very interesting one. I like frozen yogurt much more than ice cream, so that is the first thing that I made with this machine. I simply poured an entire 32 oz. container of low fat yogurt into the 1 1/2 size container, adjusted the mixing handle on the machine, and set the timer for 40 minutes. I found that the machine was not as quiet as I would have liked it to have been, but it was not that loud either. I also noticed that the machine turned off when my yogurt was frozen, which happened before 40 minutes. That was great.
It is very easy to clean this machine too. To clean it, I just lift the 1 1/2 container out of the machine, empty the frozen yogurt from the container, rinse the container and the mixing paddle under some cold water and I am done.
I like this machine, but the only negatives I have to mention about it is that, sometimes it shuts off too soon before all of the ingredients are frozen and the plastic lid pops up periodically while the ingredients are mixing. This does not happen all of the time, but it has happened. I still would recommend this machine if you would like to have delicious ice cream, yogurt, and sorbet in the quickest amount of time possible and you do not want to pre-freeze any bowls.
The Cuisinart Supreme Commercial Quality Ice Cream Maker is the first ice cream maker that I have ever had and I have had a lot of fun making my own frozen yogurt and sorbet with this wonderful machine. So, if you want to make delectable homemade ice cream quickly and easily, then I would highly recommend the Cuisinart Supreme Commercial Quality Ice Cream Maker. Making ice cream can be fun, quick, and easy!
You can find Cuisinart Supreme Commercial Quality Ice Cream Maker at many stores around the country and online at www.Amazon.com and www.Cuisinart.com for about $224.00.
