Cults are everywhere. Some are mainstream and widely accepted. Others are isolationist and hide from examination at great expense. They are growing and flourishing. Some cause great suffering while others appear very helpful and beneficial. Which ever group it is, the ultimate end is their destruction when the Lord returns to claim His own.
This is a series of articles on the study of cults, the topics are the following.
- What is a cult?
- What makes a church or a group non-Christian
- What are their strategies in recruiting new members?
- Who is vulnerable to join a cult?
- How to witness to a member of a cult?
- What groups are classified as cult?

Post a CommentHello Jack, thank u 4 reading, viewing, and appreciating my work. I'm currently doing the series on the said article on World religions. May God continue 2 bless u always.
I am looking forward to this series Neil. I read that one sign of a cult was that they did not ever want a person calling or contacting their family member or former friends or church members. When they want to isolate you from all past family and friends, that's a huge red flag and is part of what a cult does by tradition. I want to extend a warm welcome to you & look forward to future installments from you on this. Nicely done. This needs to be read. Important stuff.
