Culture Club's Amazing Album, Colour by Numbers
Colour by Numbers, One of the Best Albums of the 80's
That night, Culture Club, performed, Karma Chameleon. I thought it was great and decades later I still love the song. Karma Chameleon was the 2nd single released from the, Colour by Numbers album. The album, the groups most popular, contained 4 US hit singles (http://www.starpulse.com/Music/Culture_Club/Discography/album/P4002/R4915/).
Karma Chameleon was #1 for 3 weeks and Church of the Poison Mind, the 1st single from the album, was a top 10 hit. Other hits from the album were, Miss me Blind, It's a Miracle and Victims. The original album contained 10 tracks.
1. Karma Chameleon
2. It's a Miracle
3. Black Money
4. Changing Every Day
5. That's the Way (I'm only trying to help you)
6. Church of the Poison Mind
7. Miss Me Blind
8. Mister Man
9. Stormkeeper
10. Victims

Rarely do you find an album loaded with so many great songs. My favorite song from the album, along with Karma Chameleon, was Black Money, a powerful ballad. It's no wonder the group won the Grammy for the Best New Artist, after the release of Colour by Numbers.
When I listen to the album today, I'm still impressed. The album is fun and the singing is good. Boy George's voice is great. It's too bad the band couldn't keep it together, they could've had a great career. Even though their run was cut short, Culture Club has a place in music history ,with Colour by Numbers ,a record that has held up as well as Boy George's make-up.
Listen for yourself. If you want to hear one of the best albums of the 80's, pick up Colour by Numbers. You can find the album at one of the websites listed below.
