Most Orange County, California cities have made Christmas tree recycling easy for residents by offering curbside service. Just drag your old Christmas tree to the curb when you roll out your trash cans, and your done. Can't be any easier than that. It's important to remember to remove all decorations-including Christmas tree lights, tinsel and garland-from the Christmas tree. Many waste management companies are also asking if your Christmas tree is larger than six feet tall to cut it in half. Most waste disposal companies will accept flock trees, but these Christmas trees cannot be recycled.
