The size of these travel tubes are 1 fluid ounce (29 ml). The tube in really eye catching as it is a shiny blue/gray color. It states on the front that it is the original formula, and has time-released moisturizers.
I unscrew the clear plastic cap, that is stands on, and squeezed out some of the moisture lotion. It seems thicker than many lotions, but not as thick as a cream. It is white, and when you go to rub it into your hands, or whatever part of your body needs it, it just seems to disappear into the skin.
This seems so different to other products. The white cream literally turns into moisture, and you only have to wipe it over your skin. It doesn't need any rubbing in. It feels wet for about 5 minutes, and then your skin looks, and feels more hydrated.
There is also a cool feeling to your skin, and I love that, living in Florida with the temperature off the wall. That coolness lasts for at least half an hour.
The first time I used it, I only put it on my left arm, and hand. After an hour I checked my skin, and the arm that had the Curel Continuous Comfort Moisture Lotion, was more hydrated. It felt softer, and only had the smallest feel of grease on it.
Next I compared it to Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Hand Lotion. This took a lot of rubbing into my right hand, and the fingers that rubbed it in, were very greasy.
I have to say that I prefer the lightness of the Curel Continuous comfort Moisture Lotion for dry skin. I have to admit that the Avon one was an intensive one, but when it comes to dry skin, the Curel did just as good a job. I really hate that greasy feeling.
As well as using this on my body I have also used it on my face. It states on the back of the tube that it is:
"Gentle enough to use on face.
Non-greasy.
Dermatologist recommended.
Will not clog pores.
Absorbs quickly."
I agree with all these statements.
Curel Continuous Comfort Original Formula Moisture Lotion for dry skin with time-released moisturizers that hydrates and relieves for 24 hours is a product that I love, and will keep.
I have used up one of my tubes, and still have 9 left. At 24 cents this has to be a fantastic bargain for me.
