It comes in a baby blue, inverted tube with a flip-top cap, and you get 3.5 fl. oz. of product. It's fairly thick (I've seen some moisturizers that are thicker) and is white. I've been using this product for almost a month.
It says on the tube that you'll get "noticeably smoother, softer feet in just two nights."
Ingredients:
Water, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Petrolatum, Butyrospermum Park II (Shea Butter), Urea, Ceteareth-20, Stearic Acid, Lactamide MEA, Paraffin, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate2, Citrus Medica Limonium (Lemon) Juice, Ananas Sativus (Pineapple) Fruit Juice, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Juice, Propylene Glycol, Dimethicone, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Methylisothiazolinone, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, BHT, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Fragrance, Caramel.
Okay...this product should be tailor-made for me as I have very dry feet. The outside rim of my heels always look whitish from the dry skin residing there, and the skin on the balls of my feet has a tendency to crack. Ouch!
Under directions, it says to apply to dry feet each night before bed. There is no instruction to put on socks, but I did as I think that would promote better absorption. Were my feet noticeably smoother after two nights as Curel claimed they would be? Well, kinda. Parts of my feet were (toes, instep), but not my heels. So I started using it during the day as well. Did that help? Nope. Since the directions do not indicate the use of socks, I tried not wearing socks at night. Again, it helped moisturize parts of my feet but did not work on my stubborn heels. I tried using a smallish amount (size of a dime) to slathering it on so thick that rubbing it in gave my biceps a workout!
To be fair, there is no claim that the product will actually cure a problem with dry feet. It just says it will "significantly improve the look and feel of even the driest feet." Again, it worked fairly well in moisturizing parts of my feet (toes, instep), but not my heels. They are still kind of white.
I do think this would be a great moisturizer for people who have regular pedicures and want to keep feet looking good in between salon visits.
Although it is not labeled as so, this stuff works as a great hand moisturizer. As I'm searching for another product to use on my feet, I will use the rest of this as a hand moisturizer.
