You made a mistake and hung out a little to late last night and now you have a hangover. The good news is that there are some quick cures for hangover. The bad news is that you have to be at work in an hour. Take these suggestions for how to look more awake and get over that hangover faster.

Cures for Hangover
Alcohol dehydrates the body and thus the need to rehydrate after a late night of drinking. For every glass of alcohol you drank you really need to take in another two glasses of water. The sooner you can increase your intake of water the sooner your hangover will begin to subside.

Another problem with a hangover is that often times the alcohol has caused your body to produce lactic acid. The lactic acid explains the week woozy feeling of the hangover. If you need to get over your hangover quickly try big glass of gatorade and orange juice. The salts, electrolytes, and sugars will begin supplying your body with many of the elements the alcohol has depleted. Make sure and eat plenty of food the morning of a hangover, don't worry about your diet.

Ideas to help you look more awake.

1.Take a hot bath and a cold shower. When you wake up run your bath water as hot as you can possibly take it. Soak in the water for as long as possible and enjoy the rest and relaxation. Rinse off immediately with a cold shower for a jolt to your system that is sure to make your eyes jump to wide open.

2. Try a new hair style. If you need to mask your tired face and your droopy eyes you need to give your co workers something else to look at. Prepare a funky hairdo in advance so you don't waste valuable time. Spend as much time on our hair as possible and your coworkers will worry more about your new hair style than they will your drawn out yawns.

3.Try a different color of make up. Same as principle found in number 2. Give your coworkers something else to look about. Make sure and wear shades of red in your make up. Blue's often create a mellow look while red's present a more wild look. Keep plenty of red lipstick on you through the day and keep your lips well glossed.

4. Wear something that makes you smile. A smile always makes you look more awake so you need to tie that little red string around your finger to help you to remember and smile. Wear a different watch, second ring, or cuff links that will help you remember to smile throughout the day.

Make sure and get plenty of rest the day after a hangover so that your body can catch up on some much needed rest. These Cures for hangover are simple and will definitely work, just make sure and prepare yourself in the appropriate manner as you attempt to look more awake after that long night of partying.

Don't drink, but now I know what to look out for. However, if I ever saw any of the guys I work with show up with a new 'do, makeup and red lipstick one morning, well....

I don't drink, so I can't comment...except to say that not drinking in the first place would eliminate the problem entirely.
