Curing Acne and Skin Problems Without Proactive

Rich Jones
I am like most other people that have had struggles with acne because I have suffered I was willing to try anything. I originally tried various medications and topical gel treatments for acne and they did work for a while. Eventually my skin built up a resistance and I was left with very strong acne that would not go away. At this point I decided to try acne treatments like Stridex and Proactive but I found a very big problem with the system when it left my face feeling like an oil spill. I thought that the toner would work because it smelled and looked nice and the commercial made me feel like the product was great. However, my skin soon became very dry from the use of the toner and when I put the last cream step my face had a ton of oil on it. This eventually gave me more pimples and skin that was left looking very bad and I decided to return the product to the company.

I started looking for treatments that would be very easy and simple to use and after a ton of trial I have found a few things that have been successful. First, Dove clothes are a product that helped treat my acne and stopped all the breakouts that I was having. I had blackheads that I couldn't get rid of and these clothes did the trick. Second, if you have big pimples all over your face and you are prone to this type of acne then I suggest you use Shampoo when you wash your face. This will cause these big pimples to stop and they will not come back after about two weeks of use. I use Suave or V05 but you can use any. My father has also used this to stop his acne problem that he has had for over 30 years. Third, if none of this work for you then you will need something gentler. You can use Baby Wash in the morning and at night to wash your face. It will not dry out your skin because it does not contain soap. You can use any brand of Baby Wash but I use Johnson & Johnson that I purchase at CVS or Wallgreens. The wipes are $4, the shampoo is $1 and the Baby Wash is $5 per bottle so you can get rid of your acne problem for good at a much lower cost than medication or Proactive.
